Ferries and Ferry Companies Operating

The only ferry company operating crossings from the port of Ravenna is Venezia Lines. It operates a limited 'summer only' service, once in each direction to Porec in Croatia.
A fast service reduces the travel time to just over two hours and saves a much longer overland drive via Trieste and Slovenia.
Port of Ravenna Ferries: Venezia Lines - Ravenna, Emilia Romagna, Italy
Venezia Lines runs a route from Ravenna Port to Porec in Croatia. This route runs once a week and is available from April until October. Passengers make the crossing in one of Venezia Lines' high-speed catamaran ferries, which take 2 hours, 15 minutes. The company runs several routes between Italy and Croatia.
The catamarans making the journey are: the San Frangisk and the San Pawl, which can hold 320 people but no cars and the San Gwan, which has space for 427 people onboard and 20 cars. The San Gwan features tax-free shopping, bars and two lounges, while the former two are limited to a comfortable saloon showing movies and a snack bar selling drinks and light food. There is no open deck. Usually they sail from Ravenna on Saturday afternoons.
